The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting warehouse distribution processes. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and safety protocols to ensure smooth operations and accurate order fulfillment. Prior experience in warehouse management or supervision is a plus, along with mechanical knowledge and proficiency with various warehouse equipment. Duties Manage inventory control and perform stock replenishment using RF scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS) software such as AS400 Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely Assist with shipping & receiving activities, ensuring accurate order picking, packing, and order fulfillment Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing stock and preparing items for shipment or storage Conduct materials handling tasks including heavy lifting, stocking, and packaging to meet production and shipping deadlines Support warehouse supervisor in daily operations and contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues requiring repair or inspection Skills Strong knowledge of inventory management, inventory control, and warehouse distribution processes Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 software platforms Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to stocking, packaging, shipping & receiving, and order picking Previous warehouse experience or supervision experience is highly desirable Skills in construction or manufacturing environments are advantageous Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings requiring attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment This role offers an opportunity to be part of a professional team dedicated to operational excellence within a safe working environment.
