Clean Room Technician Job Description This entry-level clean room technician role focuses on assembling and packaging medical device components in a controlled cleanroom environment. Responsibilities Read and follow detailed work instructions to complete cleanroom assembly and packaging tasks accurately and safely. Feed materials and components to the assembly line to support continuous production flow. Stand on the assembly line and remove syringes from boxes for further processing. Disassemble syringes according to documented procedures and prepare them for repackaging. Repackage syringes into boxes, ensuring correct quantities, labeling, and orientation as specified in work orders. Construct and assemble boxes used for packaging syringes and other medical components. Pack boxes with tubing, bottles, cartridges, and other medical parts in accordance with quality and cleanliness standards. Essential Skills Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours per day while performing repetitive tasks. Ability to read and understand written work instructions and work orders. Manual dexterity with hands to handle small components, assemble parts, and package products accurately. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a cleanroom, pharmaceutical, medical device, or manufacturing environment is helpful but not required for this entry-level role. Comfort working with general production and assembly tasks, including feeding materials to lines and packaging finished goods. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members on the production line. Reliability in attendance and punctuality, especially for night shift schedules. Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing production needs and work instructions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
