Warehouse Lead Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Lead Associate to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate shipping and receiving, and smooth distribution processes. In this role, you will lead a team of warehouse associates, coordinate logistics activities, and implement process improvements to optimize workflow. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a collaborative work environment. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar platforms; conduct regular cycle counts and audits to maintain precise stock levels. Oversee materials handling operations including heavy lifting, forklift operation (certification preferred), and mechanical equipment use in compliance with OSHA safety standards. Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments with third-party logistics providers (3PL), ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation. Implement process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance overall warehouse productivity. Maintain safety protocols by adhering to OSHA regulations, conducting safety inspections, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong understanding of inventory management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Previous warehouse supervisor or team management experience is highly desirable. Proficiency with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or equivalent platforms; familiarity with OSHAsafety standards is essential. Ability to operate forklifts and mechanical equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred. Knowledge of logistics processes including e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL coordination, and transportation scheduling. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and process improvement initiatives. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate across departments. Pay:

$46,800.00 - $59,280.00 per year
