Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Material Handler to join our team at Hydromotion. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of materials within our warehouse. Your primary goal will be to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment, while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. You will work closely with our warehouse management team to ensure that all materials are properly received, stored, and shipped to their intended destinations. This is a critical role and we are looking for a candidate who is committed to excellence and has a strong work ethic.As a Material Handler at Hydromotion, you will use your skills in material handling equipment operation, order picking, shipping and receiving, barcoding, and warehouse management systems on a daily basis. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in assembly line operations and quality control. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential to success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials throughout the warehousePick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and barcodedReceive and inspect incoming materials, verifying that they meet our quality standards and reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate personnelMaintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management SystemAssist with assembly line operations as neededSets the highest ethical standards for self and othersOther duties as assignedEducation, Skills, and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environmentAbility to work overtime as neededFamiliarity with barcoding and inventory management systemsExperience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucksPreferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a Manufacturing environmentForklift certificationExperience with international shipping and receivingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsPhysical Requirements:
Able to walk and stand for 10 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, visual acuity, bend, reach with hands/arms, push/pull to move product using a pallet jack. Must be able to work in an unair-conditioned shop environment.Work Environment:
Must be able to work in an unair-conditioned shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is normal for manufacturing.Safety shoes and safety glasses are required.
