Production Laborer/Cage Builder Job Description Join our dynamic team at a concrete manufacturing plant where we specialize in producing a variety of concrete products for utility companies and custom projects. We are seeking dedicated individuals to work as Production Laborers or Cage Builders at our facilities in Royersford, PA. Responsibilities Read blueprints and drawings to construct rebar forms for pre-cast walls. Strip concrete castings from forms and clean damaged materials. Reset pallets and cores to proper positions. Construct Styrofoam and wood block outs. Assemble basic wood forms and install rebar cages according to specifications. Cast, vibrate, and finish fresh concrete. Assist with forming and pouring concrete and manage heights comfortably. Perform welding or torching when required for assembling rebar cages. Essential Skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Proficiency in reading tape measures. Experience with hand and power tools. Strong work ethic and reliability. Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, and fractions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in concrete labor or construction is a plus. Possession of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like a hard hat, high visibility vest, safety glasses, and work boots is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trappe, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
