Yard Worker Full Time

Yard Employee:

Primary role would be to fill customers' orders, organize and maintain the product, and make sure that every client feels good about buying from Histand Supply Assist with ordering and tracking of product in inventory Assist maintenance of the property, buildings, and equipment Compensation

• guaranteed minimum base plus commission:
• $18.00 per hour and a 40-hour work week (current hours work out to 35/week) o Start time is 7:30 AM and quitting time is 3:00 PM o 15 min break in morning and afternoon
• paid o ½ hour for lunch unpaid
• Vacation set at 2 weeks o Vacations are preferred in the less busy seasons (i.e
• late July
• August and winter) o Workman's compensation o Group Health
• pay 100% of employee cost
• not for dependents o Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit

Expectations:

Ø Handling inbound and outbound material Ø Keeping materials organized and being able to communicate when issues arise Ø Must have eyes and ears open to larger issues, so that you can communicate then to me Ø Set Vacation and time-off schedules

• Prefer winter vacation, if necessary, we need extra notice if it is in season Ø Maintaining equipment o Keeping equipment clean and in good working order o Greasing and checking oil on a regular schedule o Communicating when there are larger repairs needed, both written and verbally Ø Supporting the front office staff o Stocking the front store when needed o Communicating about losses and shortages, both written and verbally o Help with inventories
