Job Description

We are seeking part-time overnight checker/loader position for our Garnet Valley warehouse with Tasty Baking Company. Tasty Baking Company is best known for its Tastykake brand that produces a variety of cakes, pies, cookies and other baked treats. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in various shipping activities to ensure that goods are shipped in a timely and efficient manner. They are tasked with packing, loading, and unloading goods, checking for damages, and helping maintain an organized and clean shipping area. Part-time warehouse associates will be off every Sunday, Wednesday & Saturday.

Schedule:

Sunday

5:30am to finish Wednesday
10:00am to 6:30pm Thursday
7:30am to 12:30pm (OPTIONAL) Saturday
7:30am to 10:30am
This schedule is subject to change, shift flexibility preferred.

Warehouse Associate Pay:

$15.00/hour

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

Accurately check and verify product orders before loading Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, trash removal, organizing pallets, and maintaining sanitation standards Inspect products for damage or discrepancies Receive/Unload inbound product Maintain accurate inventory records Follow all safety and company procedures Work collaboratively with warehouse and route teams

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience (6+ months) in a warehouse or shipping role. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks, dollies and pallet jacks Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and stand for prolonged periods. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Capable of performing basic math skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Willingness to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required. #ind
