Thursday & Friday, Approx. 8:00am-4:00pm, some Wednesdays Position Summary At New Park Brewing , we self-distribute our own beer as well as other products throughout the state of Connecticuit. As we grow, we're looking for relaible and professional drivers to join our distribution team. As the face of our company in the field, you will play an important role in maintaining our reputation for timely and professional service. Responsibilities Safely operate a company delivery truck to transport alcohol products to customer locations. Load and unload cases/kegs of beer and wine using a hand truck or dolly. •Must be able to maneuver a 165 lb keg using a dolly. Training on safe handling of kegs is provided. Verify delivery accuracy by checking invoices, collecting signatures and collecting payments. Processes delivery paperwork. Provide courteous and professional customer service at each delivery stop. Inspect vehicle before and after each shift, reporting maintenance issues promptly. Follow all company safety policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates with managers if any delivery or account issues arise. Qualifications Valid driver's license. Must be 21 years of age or older. Prior delivery or route driving experience preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Clean driving record and ability to pass background check. Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude. Ability to use phone applications for routing and communication purposes. Passion for craft beer is a plus.
