Job Summary:

In this hybrid role, you will spend 50% of your time performing various warehouse duties, such as receiving, storing, and preparing products for delivery, and 50% of your time driving a company vehicle to deliver orders to our customers. You'll ensure that our operations run smoothly by adhering to safety protocols, company policies, and federal regulations.

What you will be doing:

Warehouse Operations:

Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments. Pick, pack, and prepare products for delivery according to customer orders. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

Order Delivery:

Safely and efficiently deliver orders to customers using a company vehicle. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Vehicle Inspection:

Conduct daily and per-trip inspections of the company vehicle to ensure it meets safety and compliance standards.

Load Security:

Ensure that all loads are secure and comply with company policies and federal regulations.

Documentation:

Accurately complete and manage all required paperwork, including bills of lading, transfer orders, returns, and claims.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety standards, report potential hazards, and promote a safe working environment.

Equipment Use:

Properly use and maintain company equipment, including gas cards, fuel keys, and GPS devices.

Customer Service:

Respond professionally and promptly to the needs of both internal and external customers, ensuring customer satisfaction. Participates in cross-training and is expected to support all warehouse functions as business needs require.

What we are looking for:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a commercial box truck. Forklift experience is required.

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid Class D driver's license.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent team player.

Physical Requirements:
