JOB DESCRIPTION
Company overview: Mills Coffee Roasting Co. is a locally owned and operated family-run coffee roaster based in Providence, RI. Hours and pay commensurate with experience. This position is for an experienced delivery driver who is comfortable and familiar with delivering coffee throughout Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut. In addition to driving, the driver is responsible for packing and organizing the delivery truck, representing Mills Coffee positively to customers and the public, successfully resolving delivery issues, and accommodating special delivery requests. This position is also expected to help in the warehouse as needed. Essential Functions- Deliver coffee to various wholesale locations, including markets, restaurants, and bakeries
- Pack and prepare the delivery truck
- Prepare and pack orders as needed
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be a team player and willing to help fellow employees Physical Demands Must be able to lift, at a minimum, 30-pound boxes Hours The work week is Monday through Friday; the workday is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
