Job Description

Scope of the position:
We are currently seeking a material handler for 3rd shift (12am - 8am) to deliver materials, components and packaging as required to the production area and move finished goods to the warehouse and store appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver materials, components and packaging in appropriate quantities as required to the production area Ensure all material delivered to the production area is appropriately packaged Ensure all finished goods are properly packaged and labelled prior to moving to warehouse Store all finished goods according with procedure in warehouse Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in warehouse and in the production area Move all materials, components and packaging to warehouse at end of run Eliminate the generation of waste plastic and review any waste plastic with the relevant departments. All waste plastic should be weighed, recorded and discarded. Relieve operators for breaks as required As assigned by the supervisor or manager, must be licensed and certified to drive a forklift within Mergon Corporation. The above is not exhaustive. Other duties and responsibilities may be added as the employee's immediate supervisor deems appropriate.
