Visually inspects equipment prior to operating to determine if equipment is safe to operate. Utilizes safety checklists to maintain accurate record keeping of equipment safety inspections. Obtains and maintains license to operate forklift and walk behind stacker. Demonstrates proficiency in the above duties, responsibilities, and equipment operation through evaluation. Assists with basic periodical maintenance of industrial equipment. Complies with all agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.
