Warehouse Worker Job Description The Warehouse Worker will perform both clerical and hands-on warehouse tasks related to receiving, warehousing, shipping, and small-package activity. The role involves receiving incoming goods physically and in the system, ensuring accurate tracking of movements and storage locations. Responsibilities include pulling and verifying orders for shipment, transferring materials using a forklift, and supporting internal manufacturing flow. The position also requires inspecting outgoing shipments, resolving receiving issues, and maintaining a clean, organized logistics area while adhering to safety requirements and company procedures. Responsibilities Receive incoming goods and ensure accurate tracking of movements and storage locations. Pull and verify orders for shipment, ensuring product accuracy and proper labeling. Transfer materials to and from production using a forklift and support internal manufacturing flow. Inspect outgoing shipments and resolve receiving issues such as wrong material, damaged goods, or paperwork discrepancies. Maintain a clean, organized logistics area following Lean/5S, safety requirements, and company procedures. Work with external delivery/pickup partners to meet daily shipping and logistics goals. Essential Skills Core warehouse/logistics experience. Proficiency in forklift operation for material movement. Accuracy in verifying pulled product, checking labels, and confirming documentation. Experience using SAP or similar systems for inventory tracking and documentation management. Ability to work safely around chemicals and comply with PPE requirements. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment preferred. 2+ years of forklift experience preferred. SAP or ERP system experience is a plus. Prior hazardous materials experience preferred but not required. Ability to read and follow safety documents, work instructions, and shipping paperwork. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Strong reliability, attendance, and ability to work independently. Why Work Here?
