Material Handler

Position Summary Primary responsibilities include pulling materials for production areas as required, moving Finished Goods to and from the warehouse and performing other tasks within the warehouse as needed. Essential Functions Ensure picking, staging, packing, and loading of shipments are done in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Inspects, receives, and processes all inbound material in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Will use the RF scanner to pull and transfer material for production areas as required. Will use RF scan gun and/or computer to process inbound and outbound shipments as needed. Will operate different types of forklifts within the facility in a safe manner to complete daily tasks. Load and unload trucks as needed. Will work in a team environment to help complete and continuously improve all warehouse processes. Will interact with other departmental staff to meet internal and external customer needs. Secondary Functions The ability to read and understand documents and perform mathematical calculations that pertain to the position. The ability to work cooperatively and communicate with others. The ability to deal politely with customers and coworkers. The ability to perform several tasks at once. The ability to follow directions or instruction. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Specifications Proficient warehousing, forklift, and RF scan gun knowledge required. Basic computer skills and Epicor ERP knowledge preferred. Experience on multiple forklifts preferred.
