Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Order Selector to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in materials handling, order fulfillment, and operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient warehouse distribution processes while ensuring high standards of quality control and safety. Your expertise will support seamless shipping and receiving operations, helping us deliver exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools safely to load, unload, and transport materials. Manage inventory stocking, replenishment, and organization within the warehouse management system. Conduct quality control checks during order picking and packing processes to maintain product integrity. Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including verifying shipments against documentation and preparing items for dispatch. Support warehouse distribution tasks such as load & unload operations while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve efficiency, and maintain a clean working environment. Perform basic mechanical knowledge tasks related to heavy equipment operation when necessary. Ensure proper packaging of goods for safe transportation and compliance with shipping standards. Participate in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate records within the warehouse management system. Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with order picker equipment, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures. Experience in shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment, and quality control measures. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe materials handling practices. Previous roles involving picking & packing, stocking, load & unload activities are advantageous. Mechanical aptitude or experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining safety standards. This position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations through precise order selection and materials handling. Pay:
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
