Material Handling Specialist:

What's a typical day as a Material Handling Specialist? You'll be: Unloading incoming goods and verifying items against purchase orders for quantity and delivery dates. Recording and batching inventory; delivering samples and paperwork to inspection. Storing goods in appropriate locations or transferring items for boxing and subcontract operations. Confirming, filing, and issuing essential documentation such as material and test certificates. Repackaging bulk products, operating boxing machines/hoppers for waste management, and printing labels. Moving boxed goods to correct storage or dispatch areas; creating dispatch notes, picking lists, and labels. Ensuring order accuracy during picking and packing and resolving picking discrepancies. Notifying the line manager about potential stock outs and assisting with certification issues upon request. Loading goods onto outgoing transport quickly and safely. Checking and replacing damaged labels and filling in for envoys as needed. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a High School Diploma or GED (required). Bring 2-5 years of recent, relevant warehouse experience. Can read, understand, and maintain accurate inventory records. Are able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Can safely lift up to 50 lbs. Have experience with forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers (preferred).
