Warehouse Associate ASM Infrastructure Solutions Ladson, SC Job Details Full-time 2 days ago Qualifications Lifting equipment Basic math Forklift Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Reports to: Warehouse Manager Summary/Objective The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including order fulfillment, inventory control, material handling, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and safety. Key Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment, including standard sit-down forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner Pull, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and in a timely manner Load and unload trucks and containers while ensuring product integrity Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and documentation Maintain accurate inventory through proper handling, counting, and reporting discrepancies Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation as needed Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials within the warehouse Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including aisles, workstations, and storage areas Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environment Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements Take initiative to complete tasks and support team members as needed Perform general warehouse duties as assigned to support operations Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior warehouse experience preferred Experience operating a sit-down forklift required Skills & Competencies Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs without assistance Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently Dependable with strong work ethic and attendance Basic math and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Work Environment This position operates in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment. The role requires frequent interaction with warehouse machinery and material handling equipment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 100 lbs Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely Capability to work at a consistent and efficient pace Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.
