Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Material Handler for our client located in Liberty, SC. This position is responsible for safely moving, storing, organizing, loading, and unloading materials throughout the facility while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production and shipping operations. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, trucks, cranes, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials, products, and shipments. Move materials between loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and manufacturing locations. Store and organize materials in designated warehouse locations. Prepare finished goods for shipment by locating, pulling, packing, and loading products. Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any issues to management. Identify and label materials accurately. Record material locations within the warehouse and maintain inventory accuracy. Perform routine cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies. Assist in maintaining organized storage areas and inventory systems. Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and training requirements. Perform and document daily forklift inspections. Report equipment defects, safety concerns, workplace injuries, or hazardous conditions immediately. Follow proper procedures for the safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment. Participate in all required safety meetings, training sessions, and communications. Help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience. Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials throughout the facility. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Commitment to workplace safety and compliance. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Experience with inventory management systems and cycle counting.

$16.50
