Warehouse Equipment Operator Job Description Join our team as a Warehouse Equipment Operator, where you will play a crucial role in managing palletized freight using forklifts and material handling equipment. This position focuses on receiving, storing, and moving products efficiently within warehouse racking systems while ensuring accuracy in order preparation and shipment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely for most of the shift. Receive, store, and move products within warehouse racking systems. Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments efficiently. Pick, pack, and label orders for customers or carriers. Prepare shipments for pickup, ensuring accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all warehouse safety standards and PPE requirements. Maintain inventory accuracy using scanners or warehouse systems. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating forklifts, including sit-down, deep reach, and pallet jack. Prior experience receiving inbound freight and putting products away in rack locations. Ability to load and unload trucks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in order picking, labeling products, and staging shipments. Strong attendance and reliability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be 18 years or older. Ability to lift up to ~30 lbs regularly.
