Job Description
Position Overview Superior Washer & Gasket Corp. is seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates for long-term employment opportunities. This role is responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations by handling raw materials, operating equipment, and ensuring the accurate movement of inventory throughout the facility. This is a hands-on position working with heavy metal coil materials and supporting production by delivering materials to power presses. Candidates must be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and reliable. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload raw materials and finished goods Transport metal coils and materials from the warehouse to production areas, including power presses Load and unload trucks carrying heavy raw material coils (hundreds of pounds) Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality Use micrometers and measuring tools to ensure materials meet specifications Maintain accurate inventory and assist with material tracking Perform basic computer tasks related to inventory and shipping/receiving Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines Required Qualifications Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred Forklift experience required Ability to safely handle heavy materials and perform physically demanding work Basic computer knowledge Ability to use measuring tools (micrometer experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Dependability and consistent attendance are required Preferred Qualifications Experience working with metal coils or in a metal stamping environment Previous experience supporting production operations Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse tracking processes What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic and positive attitude Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Safety-conscious and detail-focused Benefits 401(k) with company match Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Time Off 11 Paid Holidays 7 Paid Sick Days 1 Week PTO after 6 months 1 Additional Week of PTO after 1 year Profit Sharing Annual Performance Bonus (after one year, based on individual and company performance) Opportunities for growth and advancement Schedule & Location Full-time position (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM On-site in Rock Hill, SC Must be able to commute or relocate prior to start
