Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance and Warehouse Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and maintaining a safe, organized environment. This energetic position involves handling inventory management, operating heavy equipment, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach will help optimize warehouse distribution, improve inventory control, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials efficiently Perform stock stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks with precision and attention to detail. Conduct regular maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime Assist with materials handling activities including heavy lifting, construction-related tasks, and general warehouse organization Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating order picking, loading/unloading trucks, and ensuring timely shipment processing Maintain safety compliance by adhering to OSHA standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation and materials handling Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on warehouse machinery, equipment and minor repairs, changing HVAC filters, maintaining dock equipment, and conducting minor forklift maintenance (e.g., battery checks).Carry out general facility maintenance (changing light bulbs, lawn care, minor repairs, etc.). Maintain equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and landscaping equipment to ensure proper operation. Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment in the warehouse after proper training. Assemble products according to company procedures. Keep tools and equipment organized and stored in designated areas. Support warehouse organization following instructions from the Operations Manager.
Requirements:
Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively. Experience using hand tools (mechanic wrenches, calipers, pipe wrenches, etc.). Experience with power tools (table saw, reciprocating saw, band saw, impact wrench, among others). Basic knowledge of industrial or general maintenance. Basic knowledge of electrical work would be a plus. Proven ability to perform physical tasks and heavy lifting safely while maintaining high productivity levels.
Certifications:
Forklift certification is required Proactive attitude, responsibility, and willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and maintain organization.
