Warehouse/Machine Operator/Packers 2nd and 3rd shift $15.00 per hour

Our client in Union, SC has been inspiring care, comfort, and change in our communities since 1940 by creating innovative textiles. Right now we only have 2nd and 3rd shift jobs available. 2nd shift : 3:00pm to 11:00pm 3rd shift: 11:00pm to 7:00am Pay is $15.00 per hour to start and these jobs are temp to hire if your performance and attendance is good. Packer will be responsible for inspecting, packing, and folding sheeting & terry products for hospital, hotel and home markets.

Responsibilities Include:

Inspect material to ensure products meet quality standards before packing. Troubleshoot (basic) machine issues, robot problems to determine and/or prevent operating issues and alert maintenance staff when necessary. Pack all boxes according to BOM instructions. Create and inspect boxes to ensure cardboard quality and label accuracy based on the work order instructions. Record any product defects through APR system. Communicate regularly with previous and future shifts to report and discuss any issues or situations. Perform housekeeping duties including (but not limited to) sweeping, mopping, and removing product waste. Ensure all production reports are timely and accurate. Perform ad hoc, work-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications Include:

High School diploma or equivalent At least one year of production/manufacturing operation experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions Ability to maintain required forms, records and paperwork as necessary.

Required:

Lifting up to 50 pounds Some computer skills RF Scanning Walking, standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing/pulling, etc. Visual acuity for visual inspection of finished goods Please apply now and we will email you with more information for the jobs.
