The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, preparing shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate stock management. This role is vital in maintaining smooth warehouse workflows, supporting e-commerce activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through precise handling of goods. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with warehouse equipment and management systems. This position operates on 12-hour rolling shifts, requiring flexibility to work a rotating schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support continuous warehouse operations. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies using RF scanners and other warehouse management tools. Prepare outgoing orders by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately according to order specifications. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely to load and unload trucks. Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS) and update stock levels regularly. Assist with stock replenishment by stocking shelves efficiently and organizing storage areas for optimal accessibility. Support shipping and receiving processes by coordinating with carriers and ensuring timely dispatch of orders. Use basic math skills to verify quantities, calculate weights, and prepare shipping labels. Collaborate with team members to ensure order fulfillment meets quality standards and delivery deadlines. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing pallets for shipment and managing order picking using RF scanners. Assist in packaging products securely for shipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy and process efficiency. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar ERP systems is advantageous. Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is required; certification is a plus. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures within a distribution or e-commerce setting. Basic math skills necessary for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment. Demonstrated ability to work safely with warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accurate stock management and order processing.
