Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for an experienced truck driver to deliver/pick up in a safe and timely manner, as well as perform warehouse duties-picking, packing orders, receiving and stocking inventory. Responsibilites
- Delivering/picking up product to customers
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Capable of operating forklift to load/unload truck
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions and loads
- Report defects, accidents or violations Pick/pack orders Use forklift/pallet jack to load/unload trucks Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid truck driving license
- Current IDOT Medical Certification CDL B Driver's license with airbrake endorsement (Required)
