Responsibilities Perform metal finishing tasks. Manage operations on the paint line. Assemble final products. Engage in general production and machine operation. Participate in construction, assembly, and carpentry tasks. Operate grinding machines and use tape measures effectively. Essential Skills Experience in production and general labor. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency in assembly and machine operation. Skill in grinding and carpentry tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Flexibility and openness to perform tasks beyond typical job responsibilities. Ability to work independently and a growth mindset. Work Environment Work in a mid-size, 30-person fabrication shop featuring paint, press brake, welding, and assembly processes. The shop is expanding, having added 6-7 new customers in 2024. The facility includes production welding and welding bays across two buildings, handling mild steel from 20 gauge to 1 inch. The shift runs Monday to Thursday from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime on Fridays. Flexible work times are possible as long as a manager is present. Employees enjoy paid breaks and a 20-minute paid lunch. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dunlap, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
