ROLE CLARIFICATION

This is a hands-on technical role working with professional audio, video, lighting, and rigging equipment. This is not a traditional warehouse picking/packing position. Position Summary Production Technicians are responsible for preparing, organizing, loading, and processing professional event equipment used in live productions. This role combines technical equipment handling, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations. Technicians are expected to follow structured processes to ensure equipment is correctly built, verified, and safely transported. This includes loading and unloading trucks with proper weight distribution and care for high-value equipment. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment requiring both physical capability and critical thinking. Key Responsibilities Prepare equipment for events following established procedures and SOPs Build and verify equipment kits (audio, video, lighting, rigging, etc.) Load and unload trucks safely with proper weight distribution and equipment protection Scan and track equipment using inventory systems Inspect returned equipment and process back into inventory Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrect equipment Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and, occasionally, forklifts (training/certification provided if needed) Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and work areas Follow all safety procedures and handling standards Assist with event setup/teardown as needed Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills Required:

High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to follow structured processes and instructions Reliable and consistent work ethic Preferred (Not Required but Strongly Valued): Experience with audio, video, lighting, or staging equipment Experience in live events, production, or technical environments Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts Inventory or warehouse system experience Working Conditions Physically active role (lifting, moving equipment, standing for extended periods) Warehouse environment with varying temperatures (hot/cold) Occasional nights, weekends, and extended hours based on event schedules
