About the
Role:
The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facility in Lebanon. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products and materials in a timely manner, which directly impacts our supply chain effectiveness. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with team members to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure that all orders are fulfilled correctly. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to minimize errors and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, the success of this role contributes to customer satisfaction and the overall productivity of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift certification. Experience with inventory management systems. Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking.
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Organize and store products in designated areas of the warehouse. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock counts. Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills:
The required skills for this position include physical stamina and attention to detail, which are essential for handling products and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ability to work collaboratively with team members is crucial for ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and safely. Preferred skills, such as forklift operation and familiarity with inventory management systems, enhance the associate's ability to perform tasks more effectively. Basic computer skills are utilized for data entry and tracking shipments, contributing to overall operational efficiency. Continuous improvement in these skills will lead to better performance and opportunities for advancement within the company. Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30pm (CST) 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required.
