Job Title:
Records Specialist Job Description The Records Specialist works in a warehouse environment to pull and move record storage boxes, ensuring accurate handling, organization, and staging of materials. This role involves frequent heavy lifting and physical activity while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and safety. Responsibilities Pull and retrieve record storage boxes from designated warehouse locations according to work orders and instructions. Lift, carry, and move heavy boxes and materials throughout the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. Use scanning equipment to track, identify, and confirm the movement and location of boxes and materials. Load and unload boxes and materials from shelving, pallets, and vehicles as needed. Perform general labor tasks such as staging, sorting, and organizing materials to support overall warehouse operations. Support general production and material handling activities, including picking and preparing items for storage or retrieval. Follow established procedures for handling records and materials to maintain accuracy and prevent damage. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area by following safety guidelines and housekeeping standards. Work collaboratively with team members and follow direction from supervisors to meet daily productivity goals. Essential Skills Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy boxes and materials on a regular basis. Experience performing general labor or warehouse tasks such as picking, loading, unloading, and material handling. Ability to use or learn handheld scanning devices to track and confirm items. Comfort working in a physically demanding role that involves frequent squatting, bending, and standing. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate pulling and handling of records and materials. Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general production, warehouse work, or construction is helpful. Willingness to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
