Job Description

For 95 years, Gold Medal has been a leader in the concession industry for both equipment and supplies including popcorn, cotton candy, Sno-Kones and much more. Gold Medal is a family-owned business with an excellent culture. Due to our continued growth, we are excited to announce a Warehouse Worker opportunity available at our Old Hickory, Tennessee branch location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Following established methods and procedures must be able to perform, but not limited to the following operations necessary for shipping concession equipment; pick orders from computer generated invoices, loads truck in safe organized manner so that merchandise can be easily and safely retrieved for delivery to the customer. Knowledge of general warehouse operation and experience picking orders. Use and be familiar with Powered Industrial Trucks (stand-up, sit-down and walkie). Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Complete tasks as directed by supervisor, and manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Must be able to work as part of a team. Order fulfillment from picking the orders from stock and loading vehicle. Good customer skills are very important. Lifting and loading up to 60 lbs. May also perform other miscellaneous warehouse duties. This position generally is scheduled on a Monday through Friday basis. Some overtime and weekends may be required.
