Job Description

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies. This role ensures that inventory is handled accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The Warehouse Specialist works closely with team members and other departments to meet operational needs and uphold high standards of service and safety.
Essential Functions:
Assist with daily warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. Accurately document inventory movements using established procedures and systems. Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors. Help maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, ensuring materials are properly labeled and stored. Follow inventory control procedures to prevent loss, damage, or waste. Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, or forklifts (if certified). Support logistics for incoming and outgoing deliveries, including loading and unloading shipments. Collaborate with supervisors and internal departments to fulfill material requests and ensure timely support. Adhere to all organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Handle the daily processing, storage, and redistribution or disposal of surplus items. Other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping procedures, as well as general safety practices. Skill in operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks Skill in performing basic data entry or recordkeeping tasks. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling inventory. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently or as part of a team, and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Required Education, Experience, Licensing, and Certifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent One (1) year experience in inventory stocking or warehouse operations preferred. Basic computer or inventory system skills preferred. Must obtain Forklift certification within six (6) months from date of hire. Must possess valid Driver's License. This position recruitment closes at 12:00 noon, Thursday, June 30, 2026.
