Job Description

Our client, a supply chain management company, is currently seeking a part- time Warehouse Transportation Clerk in Smyrna, Tennessee . The Warehouse Transportation Clerk will help coordinate freight movement, communicate with drivers and carriers, and keep shipment records accurate. Candidates must be dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
The Day-to-Day:
Coordinate outbound and inbound shipments to support daily transportation needs. Track deliveries and monitor freight movement to help ensure shipments stay on schedule. Maintain accurate transportation records, shipping documents, and related paperwork. Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and internal teams regarding shipment status. Assist with resolving transportation delays, scheduling concerns, or delivery updates. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Previous clerk experience required. Forklift experience required. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted
Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
