Job Description

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Associate is responsible for overseeing all aspects of fiber optic equipment management, inventory control, and readiness for field deployment. This role ensures that tools, consumables, and specialized equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and allocated to support fiber installation, splicing, testing, and activation projects. The position requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of fiber optic tools, and the ability to coordinate with field teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all equipment required for fiber installation, splicing, testing, patching, and activation.
Manage lifecycle of fiber equipment:
procurement, tracking, maintenance, and retirement. Maintain inventory of tools (fusion splicers, OTDRs, power meters, etc.) and consumables. Ensure equipment readiness, calibration, and preventive maintenance. Implement check-in/check-out procedures and track usage. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements. Support field teams with training, deployment, and safe handling practices. Assist with budgeting, vendor management, and procurement of new technologies. Maintain documentation and provide regular status reports.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in fiber optics preferred. 3+ years in warehouse operations or fiber optic equipment management. Strong organizational and technical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office Knowledge of fiber optic tools and calibration standards.
Physical Requirements :
