Tile Warehouse Assistant Job Summary:
The Tile Warehouse Assistantis responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping tile products in a warehouse environment. The role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Inventory Management:
  • Unload incoming shipments of tile and related materials.
  • Inspect products for quality and accuracy upon receipt.
  • Organize and store tiles in designated areas, maintaining an organized inventory system.
  • Order Fulfillment:
  • Pick and pack orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and labels.
  • Storage and Maintenance:
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move tiles and materials safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock levels.
  • Customer Service:
  • Assist customers and delivery personnel when necessary, providing product information and support.
  • Help resolve any issues related to inventory or shipping.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in warehouse operations or material handling preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
  • Indoor warehouse environment with potential exposure to varying temperatures.
  • May require overtime or weekend work during peak periods.
