Distribution Center Warehouse Assistant (Part-Time) D&L Farm and Home Aubrey, TX Job Details Part-time From $14 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Retirement plan Qualifications Customer communication Customer service In-person customer service Moving Forklift Driver's License Full Job Description The person filling this position must be capable of undertaking strenuous work on a daily basis, hardworking, reliable and conscientious with good customer service skills. They must be capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a team. An ability to fill in ringing up customers in the Farrier Dept. is a plus. D&L is a family-owned feed store that has been in business for 30 years. We provide a wide range of livestock and small animal feeds, as well as lawn and garden products. Our Distribution Center is open Monday-Friday.
REQUIREMENTS
Passed Drug Test Passed Driving Record and Background Check Able to lift and move loads up to 75-100 pounds Valid Driver's LicensePREFERRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Agriculture knowledge equivalent to Horticulture, Farming/Ranching, Livestock or Pet Reading skills Verbal communication (English preferred) skills Forklift driving skills Self-motivated and disciplined 18 years of age or older Scheduling Requirement- Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8AM

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(INCLUDE, BUTNOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING LIST
) Prepare transfers to be sent out to stores Ensure transfers have the correct product pulled and placed on/in truck/trailer Ensure load is secure for transit Un-strap products for stores after arrival with transfer Load/unload vehicles using forklifts Move stock/goods using forklifts in warehouses Equipment maintenance and inspection Keeps warehouse and surrounding grounds clean and tidy Help organize upstairs inventory when needed Help move feed around whether by hand or by forklift Completes any required training and education Receive in products using the wireless gun or manually checking in product Sorting products as being received to be transferred back out to stores Count inventory using wireless gun or manually with count sheet on weekly basis Any task that helps improve store's satisfaction and transfer process Work Sales counter on occasion in Farrier Dept.A GREAT D&L EMPLOYEE WILL
