Job Description

Material Handler 3 months Carrollton, TX 75007 7am to 4pm lunch break is from 11am to 12pm Saturdays as needed. Job Description The Material Handler is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, and warehouse support activities. This role requires frequent movement throughout the warehouse, heavy lifting, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities Process shipping and receiving activities for Advance Replacement products. Offload UPS trucks, including loading and unloading materials and packages. Serve as a Water Spider by distributing work and materials to technicians to support operational workflow. Monitor warehouse operations and material movement to ensure efficiency. Manage Liquidation Pallets by identifying full pallets and coordinating their transfer for wrapping and processing. Scan and track WIP (Work-in-Process) pallets using RF scanners to maintain inventory visibility and traceability. Generate and verify shipping labels while ensuring accuracy in packaging and documentation. Utilize shipping software to process outbound shipments and track inventory. Provide support across warehouse functions and step in to assist team members during absences as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand and remain on feet for the majority of the workday. Ability to read, understand, and follow English-language instructions. Experience using shipping software and warehouse systems. Familiarity with RF scanners and barcode scanning processes.
Ability to meet productivity requirements:
Shipping rate of 100 units per day, or Receiving rate of 150 units per day. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Skills Prior experience with UPS WorldShip software. Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling environments. Experience using small hand tools related to packaging and shipping processes. Strong inventory tracking and labeling accuracy. Previous experience working as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, Shipping/Receiving Associate, or Water Spider. Physical Requirements Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift. Ability to perform repetitive warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely lift and move boxes and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
