WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

DSA is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to work in our Dallas Texas warehouse within a fast-paced team environment. The ideal DSA candidate will be able to work both individually and in a team environment, have excellent attention to detail, and a "can-do" attitude.
Shift available:
Monday-Friday 12:00pm-9:00pm Flexibility required 40 hours per week Benefits Benefits offered include medical, dental, vision, vacation, holidays, sick time, life insurance and 401K. Duties and Responsibilities As a Warehouse Associate , your main responsibility is to be part of a sort crew. Main duties include but are NOT limited to: Offload inbound delivery trucks. Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack. Sort and scan packages. Scan packages and report overages or shortages. Inspect integrity of the packages received before sorting for delivery. Match delivery manifests. Stage freight into appropriate delivery routes. Prepare packages/loads for shipping. Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
Qualifications:
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs Be able to operate a forklift (certified if possible) Be able to stand for long periods of time. Be able to use a hand scanner. Familiarity with a manual pallet jack and sit forklift. Be able to complete OS&D Reports Be a self-starter. Daily tasks will be assigned prior to line haul truck arriving. Team player who can also produce independent results Computer literacy is a plus Must have a cell phone for daily contact Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
Minimum Requirements:
1 year of forklift operator experience. 1 year of pallet jacket experience. 1 year of warehouse experience. Valid driver's license. Willingness to undergo and pass both a background check and pre-employment drug test
Wages:
Range from $18•20•DOE•
