Responsible for assessing, acquiring and moving materials in support of the district needs. Ensure quality and productivity goals and standards are achieved.
Essential Responsibilities :
Manage inventory district orders and shipping/receiving processes Assign duties to the shipping and receiving clerks and assure completion Monitor product movement along with all appropriate paperwork Confers with others to coordinate activities between departments as necessary Perform tasks to ensure accurate and timely transactions Recommends improvements to production methods, procedures, equipment performance and work practices to management Daily warehouse facility inspections Ensure compliance within the facility as it relates to quality, productivity, safety and security Demonstrates methods and trains employees in tasks or equipment operation Operate loading and unloading equipment, hoists and other specialized material handling equipment. Operate loaders and other equipment to transport materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks and to store and retrieve materials in warehouses Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse environment, or equivalent skill and knowledge Basic education, reading, writing and math skills needed to perform responsibilities. Sensitive to confidential information. Must work independently and as a member of team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to read, speak and write English. Strong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload. Able to work under stressful conditions at times. Communication

Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week with frequent overtime demands based on the workload requirements. Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standards. Strong work ethics of integrity, honesty and strives for excellence in all activities. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work.
