Cleburne, TX Job Summary The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and control of materials within the facility. This role ensures that production and shipping operations run smoothly by maintaining accurate inventory levels, safely handling materials, and delivering items to the appropriate locations in a timely manner. Education and Skills High school diploma or GED preferred Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) required Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus Ability to read and interpret work orders, shipping documents, and safety guidelines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills Commitment to safety and quality standards Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Load, unload, and move materials within the production area Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to designated locations Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hoists Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories Inspect incoming materials for damage and verify quantities against shipping documents Prepare materials for shipment, including packing, labeling, and documentation Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area Assist production or shipping teams as needed to meet operational goals Report any discrepancies, damage, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly Work Context Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and welding fumes Manual dexterity to handle tools and materials Performance Measures, KPIs & Conduct Standards Accuracy & Quality Inventory accuracy rate: >98-100% Order picking/shipping accuracy: >99% Material damage rate: 95% Dock-to-stock time for incoming materials (target set by operation) Percentage of daily tasks completed within scheduled shift Safety Performance Zero recordable safety incidents Compliance with PPE and safety procedures: 100% Equipment inspection completion rate: 100% Participation in safety meetings and training Inventory Control Cycle count accuracy and completion rate: 100% Timely system updates Proper labeling and material identification compliance Reliability & Attendance Attendance rate in accordance with company policy On time start and break adherence Overtime participation as required
