Job Summary:

The Post-Construction Clean-Up General Laborer is responsible for performing detailed cleaning and debris removal services at commercial construction sites prior to occupancy. This role ensures newly constructed or renovated buildings are clean, safe, and move-in ready. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, physically capable, and able to work efficiently in fast-paced construction environments. Weekly schedule: Monday - Saturday 6am to 5:30pm Minimum 8 month project Starting pay: $15.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Remove construction debris, trash, and leftover materials from job sites Sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust floors and surfaces Clean windows, glass panels, mirrors, and frames Remove stickers, labels, paint overspray, caulk, and adhesive residue Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and break areas Wipe down walls, baseboards, doors, trim, vents, and fixtures Polish stainless steel, fixtures, and hardware Vacuum carpets and perform spot cleaning as needed Follow safety procedures when handling tools, ladders, and cleaning chemicals Operate basic cleaning equipment (shop vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, etc.) Report safety hazards or site concerns to supervisors Assist team members to meet project deadlines

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and standing for long periods Ability to work in dusty or recently constructed environments

Qualifications:

Previous construction cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed Scissor lift experience is a plus but not required Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
