Dallas, Texas Job Summary Screenco is seeking motivated, dependable individuals who are interested in building a career in manufacturing. As a Screen Assembly / General Labourer, you will play an important role in the production of window and patio door screens in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on position involves operating machinery, assembling components, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to Screenco's reputation as a leading supplier of window and door screens across North America. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Cut, punch, and prepare metal rails to specified lengths for window and patio door screen assembly. Operate production equipment and tools, including miter saws, hydraulic punches, roller bending machines, CNC screening machines, pallet jacks, and various hand tools (training provided). Measure and assemble screen components using both metric and imperial measurements. Install and secure screen mesh into frames using hand tools and automated equipment. Label, package, and prepare finished products for shipment. Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company specifications and standards. Complete daily production records, paperwork, and reports accurately. Assist with equipment lubrication, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Qualifications & SkillsRequired Qualifications Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to bend, crouch, and lift up to 80 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly environments. Mechanical aptitude and experience operating machinery or hand tools. Forklift certification or operating experience. Basic computer skills and experience using ERP systems. Experience in the fenestration (window and door) industry. Availability to work overtime, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, when required.
