Start the application process online at www.staff-force.com and call us once your application is complete. 214-634-7686 Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse General Labor professional to join our dynamic distribution team. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, materials handling, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in ensuring efficient order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse productivity. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and heavy equipment operation while contributing to a safe and organized work environment. Duties Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and cycle counting to maintain accurate stock levels. Operate various warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely. Support order picking and packing processes using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Handle shipping and receiving tasks by preparing shipments, verifying incoming deliveries, and maintaining shipment documentation. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks in compliance with OSHA safety standards. Support manufacturing or distribution processes by stocking materials, packaging products, and preparing items for shipment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance. Requirements Prior experience in a warehouse environment with familiarity in inventory management, shipping & receiving, or manufacturing is preferred. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks; certification is a plus. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar platforms is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Understanding of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations. Experience with order picking using RF scanners or similar technology. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock management. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. Pay:
$13.00 - $18.00 per hour
