Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a responsible, energetic, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This individual will oversee the receipt, stocking, and dispatch of materials, maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate deliveries to clients, ensure a clean and organized work environment, and supervise warehouse workers to ensure adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) to communicate with clients, physically capable of handling warehouse duties, and a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise incoming deliveries: inspect, verify, and organize new materials upon arrival. Stock materials in their designated locations accurately and efficiently. Monitor outgoing shipments to ensure correct and timely dispatch to clients. Coordinate with sales team on schedule for deliveries to clients, ensuring punctuality and professionalism. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Oversee warehouse workers to ensure they are following safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed. Communicate effectively with the sales and operations teams regarding inventory levels and needs. Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with shipments or inventory. Assist in training new warehouse employees on company procedures and safety guidelines. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
Requirements:
Must be able to walk, stand, move, and carry materials comfortably throughout the workday. Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and consistently. Good organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. Basic computer skills to manage inventory systems and delivery schedules. Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative. Ability to follow instructions and company policies thoroughly. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
