Job Summary:

The Warehouse Support Associate contributes to the overall goal of the company to provide exceptional service and maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Warehouse Support Associate performs essential duties through safe, efficient, damage free, and cost effective plant procedures, representing the company in a professional, positive manner in all customer interactions. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for pulling storage boxes, charts and materials based on client requests Possible Data Entry work Returns boxes, charts and materials to the appropriate plant location Responsible for logging items into the computer system Must meet all company standards Transports documents from customer location to truck for destruction on an as needed basis Ability to interact and communicate with customers with the highest degree of professionalism Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other employees to do the same Safely operates forklift and other equipment in order to complete tasks Works cooperatively and productively with Supervisor and co-workers in order to complete tasks Maintain the highest degree of security and control of customers' confidential material presented for destruction at all times Physical Job Requirements Must be able to consistently lift material up to 70 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls The employee is required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear, push and or pull up to 70 lbs., twist and/or turn, reach and pull above shoulder height Typically, in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, outside weather conditions and moving machinery Must be able to load and unload materials using a forklift or other provided tools and equipment Skills and Specifications Ability to complete paperwork accurately and completely Must have the ability to work independently and self motivation Must be able to load and unload materials using a forklift or other provided tools and equipment Must be able to use a handheld scanner Education and Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree from an accredited institution 1+ year of relevant work experience Must be at least 18 years of age or older Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
