Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs or more
Duties:
Material Handling:
Ensure proper handling and placement to avoid damage to goods and maintain an organized workspace.
Sorting Materials:
Sort materials by type, size, and order requirements, ensuring they are stored in the appropriate location for easy access and shipment.
Inventory Control:
Assist in tracking inventory levels, labeling, and organizing stock. Ensure items are accurately documented and available for shipping or further processing.
Receiving and Shipping:
Unload shipments, inspect materials, and ensure that all incoming goods match the order specifications. Pack and prepare outgoing orders, ensuring that shipments are correctly labeled and ready for transport.
Organization & Cleanliness:
Maintain an orderly warehouse by keeping shelves stocked, organizing materials efficiently, and ensuring that aisles and storage areas are clear and safe.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to warehouse safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
