Warehouse Associate Job Description As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by generating manifests, confirming orders, and interpreting warehouse documents. You will be responsible for sorting, relocating merchandise, verifying documentation, and organizing products for distribution. Responsibilities Generate manifest to dispatch and confirm customer and/or stock orders. Interpret various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to other designated areas. Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity. Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to pre-determined sequence. Prepare products for distribution within facilities. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on palettes, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing station or shipping department. Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within established guidelines. Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Create and enter records for the manifest on warehouse computer system. Essential Skills Experience with warehouse operations, including material handling, picking, and packing. Proficiency in using RF Scanner for inventory tracking. Ability to operate forklift and handle shipping tasks. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Additional Skills & Qualifications 0-6 months of warehouse experience preferred. No certification required initially, but certification on CROWN trucks will be provided upon permanent hire. Work Environment The warehouse is a fast-paced environment with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. The facility is non-climate controlled, and employees are required to wear closed-toe shoes. Cellphones and electronics are not permitted in the warehouse to ensure safety and focus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
