Job Title:
Warehouse Associate Job Description As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the shipping department. You will be part of a team where individual contributions are tracked. This position requires physical activity, including walking and lifting throughout the day. Responsibilities Handle materials and manage inventory within the warehouse. Receive and process returns efficiently. Assist in shipping and receiving tasks using RF scanners. Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory control. Use a 12ft staircase ladder when necessary, ensuring no fear of heights. Maintain a fast-paced walking speed for 8-12 hours daily. Lift items weighing up to 50 pounds independently. Essential Skills Experience in warehouse operations, ranging from 0 to 6 months. Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management. Ability to handle materials and manage receiving and shipping tasks. Capacity to walk at a fast pace for extended periods. Physical strength to lift heavy objects. Work Environment You will work in a bustling warehouse environment within the shipping department, surrounded by pallets of products and narrow aisles. Electric pallet jacks are operated by certified professionals, and safety regulations are strictly observed. Personal electronics, such as cellphones and smart watches, are not permitted in the warehouse. Appropriate footwear includes sneakers, boots, or steel-toed shoes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
