SCOPE OF WORK:
The Warehouse person reports to the Construction Department Project Manager. The Warehouse ensures that tools, materials, paperwork, etc. is delivered to the appropriate projects. He also makes sure that the delivery trucks are in good working order. The rest of the job consists of working in the warehouse and organizing material and cleaning the warehouse.
Requirements:
1. Have basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills. 2. Must have a current driver's license. 3. Must have own reliable transportation. 4. Must be flexible to come in early and stay late as customer and project demands dictate. 5. Must be able to work effectively with superintendent, foreman, and other field personnel 6. Be able to work well in a "team" environment. 7. Be familiar with electrical equipment, materials and specifications. 8. Have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally; in written form and verbally. 9. Have the ability to monitor own work to ensure quality. 10. Have the ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees. •

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. The Warehouse person processes deliveries set up by the Logistics Manager. 2. The Warehouse person drives the delivery truck to the appropriate projects and helps in unloading the material on the jobsite. 3. The Warehouse person is in direct contact with the Project Forman's and communicates to the Project Manager the needs of each Forman, if not communicated to the PM first. 4. The Warehouse person maintains his/her assigned vehicle (oil changes, tires, inspections). 5. The Warehouse person maintains his/her time spent per project and turns in a timesheet weekly. 6. The Warehouse person unloads scheduled deliveries and performs inventory on what has been delivered. 7. The Warehouse person maintains the warehouse by keeping it clean and organized. 8. The Warehouse person maintains the lay down yard and keeps the material stored in the yard organized. 9. The Warehouse person operates a fork lift safely and stores material on the racks in a secure manner. 10. The Warehouse person manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, excluding HVAC and Plumbing. 11. The Warehouse person oversees the cleaning and maintenance of facility including trash detail in offices. 12. The Warehouse person must be able to do landscaping, routine cleanups, and other maintenance tasks. 13. The Warehouse person aids in supervising and training high school interns. 14. May need to run hot shot deliveries to job sites.
Physical Requirements:
All applicants must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead. Lift 51 pounds, 20 times per day. Constantly move about on the feet. Complete full day assignments involving overhead work. Must be able to make transition from employee parking area or street into construction work areas. Possess good vision, normal or corrected. Possess good hearing, normal or corrected. This includes vision requirements.
Working Conditions:
May work inside or outside while wearing required personal protective equipment at all times; possible exposure to hot and cold temperatures, weather elements, dust, toxic materials, in restricted or confined spaces, and on slippery or uneven surfaces; works on ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, in ditches and excavations; works in and around single and multi-story buildings with all exposures typical of a heavy construction site, including portable sanitary facilities.
