Job Description

Job Summary We are hiring a full‑time, entry‑level Quality Control (QC) / Material Handler to join our pipe fitting manufacturing operation. This position is designed for individuals with little to no prior QC experience who are reliable, detail‑oriented, and willing to learn. This role combines basic quality inspection tasks with material handling and shop support , and is an excellent starting point for a career in manufacturing quality or fabrication. Key Responsibilities Entry‑Level Quality Control Perform basic visual inspections of pipe fittings and fabricated components Check parts for obvious defects, damage, or missing features Use simple measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauges) — training provided Ensure parts match work orders and basic drawings Tag and separate non‑conforming material Complete simple inspection and tracking paperwork Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production staff Material Handling / Shop Support Move raw material and finished parts throughout the facility Stage material for welding, fabrication, and shipping Load/unload carts, pallets, and racks Assist with basic inventory organization Maintain clean, organized work areas Support daily shop operations as needed Qualifications No prior QC experience required Manufacturing or shop experience is a plus but not required Ability to learn how to read tape measures and basic prints Comfortable working in an industrial environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Strong attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and safety‑minded Willingness to learn and take direction Training & Advancement On‑the‑job training provided Opportunity to gain experience in: Manufacturing quality control Pipe fitting and fabrication processes Inspection tools and procedures Potential for advancement based on performance and reliability Compensation & Benefits Lower entry‑level base pay , based on experience Overtime available as needed Benefits offered for full‑time employees Stable, year‑round work Work Environment Industrial manufacturing facility Steel pipe fittings, welding, and fabrication operations PPE required (provided)
