Material Handlers - Gainesville, TX Penmac Staffing Penmac Staffing is now hiring Material Handlers for a manufacturing client in Gainesville, Texas. If youre dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work in a fast-paced production environment, we want to hear from you! Schedule and Pay 12-hour rotating shifts (must work every other weekend) Day Shift (A/C): 7:45 AM - 8:00 PM | $16.00/hour Night Shift (B/D): 7:45 PM - 8:00 AM | $18.00/hour Position Summary As a Material Handler, you will support production operations by running and monitoring production lines, packaging product, completing required documentation, and safely transporting finished goods. Youll play a key role in maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
Note:
This position works in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment, meaning exposure to heat and cold depending on seasonal conditions. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor production line equipment after training Inspect products for defects (scratches, holes, wrinkles, etc.) Verify print line accuracy and match to production specifications Measure product dimensions including wall thickness, OD, and length Make equipment adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards Package, stack, and transport finished product safely to the yard Complete production reports, checklists, and sample documentation accurately Cut and deliver samples to the lab per procedures Reclaim scrap materials using saws, grinders, and related tools Assist other operators and support team productivity Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Report equipment or product damage promptly Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE Training and Requirements Willingness to complete training in: o Equipment operation o OSHA safety standards o Forklift and crane certification Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotating schedule Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a manufacturing environment Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment Safety Expectations Follow all company safety procedures Report accidents or near misses immediately Wear required PPE, including: o Safety glasses o Steel-toed boots o Gloves and hearing protection Why work with Penmac?
