DOE•Ewing Outdoor Supply is a fourth generation, family-owned wholesale landscape, irrigation, and outdoor supply company looking for dependable, customer-focused team members to join our operations team. If that sounds like you, keep reading… This role provides a variety of activities—including customer service, warehouse operations, inventory support, local deliveries, and sales assistance—making it ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working both indoors and outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Though preferred, this hands-on, foundational role doesn't require prior industry experience; we provide world-class training to set you up for success from day one! Responsibilities Go the extra mile to engage customers Greet and direct customers Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services) Answer customers' questions about specific products/services Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing Cross-sell products Ensure racks are fully stocked Manage returns of merchandise Coordinate with your team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times) Inform customers about discounts and special offers Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager Stay up-to-date with new products/services Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes Follow routes and time schedule Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints Inform customers about new products and services Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Requirements Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Basic math skills Be able to lift 50-70 pounds Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships Ability to perform in fast-paced environments Valid professional driver's license Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record with no traffic violations Bonus Points for the Following• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions (willing to train the right candidate) Proven work experience as a Customer Service Associate, Sales Associate, or similar role.
